Welcome to Weaving Class!
I'm so glad you're interested in learning to weave. Weaving is one of the oldest surviving crafts in the world. Each weaver creates pieces unique to her own stories. My hope in teaching weaving is to be able to share what I have learned about the art and the peace and wisdom it has brought me.
In our classes, we will use hand dyed wools mostly from the Churro Sheep from our area in the Southwest and some synthetics. Our small classes are created in the spirit of community and connection, and it is that connection that inspires us to create.
Things to know before class
We'll meet for about two hours, but I will hold space for weaving a bit longer if you want to. Once we get started weaving, it's usually hard to stop!
